The first two phases of the ambitious M City master-planned community, M City 1 and 2, have dramatically transformed the Mississauga skyline. Designed by CORE Architects following an international design competition, the twin 62-storey towers feature a series of shifting floor plates that create their distinctive twisting forms. Clad in glass and metal, the two towers complement one another, together creating one of the most recognizable additions to downtown Mississauga.

Containing over 1,500 condominium residences combined, including 18 street-level townhomes, the development offers an extensive collection of amenities spanning approximately 67,500 square feet across the two buildings. Highlights include outdoor swimming pools, splash pads, landscaped terraces, fitness and wellness facilities, entertainment lounges, sports bars, chef's kitchens, private dining spaces, a movie theatre, and a rooftop skating rink, a first for the GTA. 40,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and landscaped public areas contribute to an animated pedestrian environment.

With over two acres of new public parkland on site, and extensive municipal infrastructure works including new public roads, services, and generous pedestrian streetscapes, M City 1 and 2 represent the first major milestone in the transformation of a 15-acre site into a vibrant new urban neighbourhood. With construction commencing in 2018, first occupancies beginning in 2023, and final closings in 2024, the development has established a new benchmark for Mississauga’s evolving city centre.
